Job Summary

Marine Estimator to lead the estimating lifecycle for complex marine projects (piers, bulkheads, seawalls, dredging, shoreline protection, waterfront terminals). Responsibilities include reviewing plans/specifications/geotechnical data, developing quantity takeoffs for concrete/steel/timber/piling, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and field supervisors to assess constructability and costs, securing competitive pricing from subcontractors/suppliers, ensuring estimates comply with company standards and deadlines, participating in pre-bid activities, and contributing to process improvements within the Civil and Marine Division. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of marine or heavy civil preconstruction estimating experience; proficiency with MS Office and industry estimating software (e.g., Heavy Bid, OST, Procore, Blue Beam, Primavera P6); knowledge of pile driving, cofferdams, dredging, marine equipment mobilization; experience with design-build or CMAR; established relationships with local marine subs and suppliers; familiarity with permitting/environmental requirements (USACE, NOAA, state coastal agencies); strong problem-solving and communication skills.
