Job Summary
Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom millwork and fabricated metal products by reviewing drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Estimate labor, materials, and outside services across multiple facilities while developing BOMs and routing assumptions in collaboration with Engineering. Coordinate pricing for outsourced components and support Sales with pricing strategies and value-engineering options. Maintain estimating databases, analyze historical data to improve accuracy, and participate in project handoffs to Operations. This Safety Sensitive position requires three years of estimating experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of wood, stainless steel, and carbon steel fabrication processes
- Minimum of three (3) years of estimating experience in manufacturing or fabrication
- Experience with custom products, millwork, and metal fabrication
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Strong basic math skills
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
- Ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment
