Job Summary
Estimates cost for HVAC and roofing fabrication by analyzing proposals, blueprints, and specifications; prepares detailed estimates, specialized pricing, and purchase orders; ensures timely completion and presents estimates clearly; analyzes material, labor, time, and freight to assess cost effectiveness; maintains cost data in the database and collaborates with customers, sales, production management, and support staff; maintains technical knowledge through workshops and webinars; adheres to safety practices and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be eligible to complete estimating and take-off classes/certifications
