Job Summary
Provide Kingspan Insulated Panel (KIP) project quotations to Regional Sales Managers and their customers from supplied project documents and material lists. Support sales needs to deliver both budgetary and firm price quotes within customer time frames. Perform detailed material takeoffs, develop accurate descriptive materials quotations, and cross-reference project document details with Kingspan standards. Coordinate quoting strategies with sales reps, provide information to Customer Service upon project booking, and participate in handoff meetings with Drafting. Maintain organized quotation logs and files for quick reference while following Group Code of Conduct and compliance requirements. This in-office role in Deland, FL requires 2+ years of estimating experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Technical, Architectural, or Engineering degree
- 4 years of applicable industry experience
- 2+ years of estimating experience
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Ability to understand and interpret project specifications, addenda, special provisions, and all other applicable project documents
- Excellent organizational and mathematical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and problem-solve with minimal supervision
- Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and written and oral communication skills
- Close vision for working on computers or reading technical documents
- Ability to hear and communicate clearly in person or via phone
- This is an in-office position (5 days in office, not remote/WFH)
