Job Summary
Qualify new opportunities, review drawings and specifications, and develop accurate, timely cost estimates for bid projects, roof safety audits, and estimate requests. Analyze material and time requirements, collaborate with Sales Reps, CAD Technicians, and Project Management to clarify project details and align on pricing strategies, then prepare professional proposals that reflect Kattsafe's value. Update estimates as project information evolves, input opportunity leads into the CRM, and identify cost-savings opportunities to improve win rates while ensuring compliance with Kattsafe standards, codes, and industry regulations. Complete 50 estimates per week in an onsite role in Whitestown, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' proven experience as an Estimator in a construction environment
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Hubspot, and ERP systems - preferably INFOR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
