Job Summary
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide accurate estimates for custom furniture and joinery solutions. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documents to identify materials, labor, and equipment needs. Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials. Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor and material costs, and monitor project costs while providing regular updates to the team. Work with the design team to offer cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure accurate estimates. Assist in reviewing project bids and communicate with stakeholders to address cost-related queries. Maintain accurate records of estimates and project documentation. Requires 3-5 years of experience in Dubai with strong analytical skills and proficiency in estimation software.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in the joinery industry in Dubai
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and processes
- Familiarity with project management and cost control principles
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimation software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
