Job Summary
Prepare custom quotes and job/project cost estimations by creating basic CAD drawings, reviewing blueprints, and analyzing customer specifications. Support lead time requests to sales and review orders to determine manufacturing scope for plant personnel. Release production orders, complete job closures, and provide backup support in production planning and scheduling. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as necessary, maintaining safety standards and reacting positively to change.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree and/or equivalent education and related job experience
- 2 years' experience in a customer service support or production role or jobs estimating, quoting, or planning in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Prior ERP experience
- Understanding bill of material (BOM) management
- Good written and verbal communications
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively present information to groups
- Strong technical knowledge including proficiency with basic mathematics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read blueprints or drawings
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Willingness to cross-train in other functional areas
- Reliable attendance
- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass a satisfactory background investigation
