Job Summary
Electrical Estimator responsible for measurement, pricing and cost accounting for construction projects; develops material, labor, subcontractor, direct/indirect costs including overhead and profit, and prepares budgets with unit pricing; reviews drawings/specifications, conducts system counts and takeoffs, requests quotes from vendors, drafts RFIs, analyzes quotes and pricing data, offers value engineering ideas, and presents proposals to clients. Must stay current with bid processes, market trends, and use estimating and reporting software to improve estimate accuracy and project profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Five years of construction estimating experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Proficient in Trimble Accubid Anywhere (plus)
- Excellent Communication Skills
