Job Summary
Estimator in Training learns to diagnose and prepare vehicle repair estimates for insurance-partnered and company guidelines, including greeting customers, mapping damage, taking initial photos, uploading to CCC One, notifying production, verifying teardown, finalizing parts lists, and reviewing promise dates with customers; participates in production meetings, follows up with customers, and assists insurance adjusters. Requires a high school diploma or GED, prior customer service experience, and completion of 16 I-CAR units within 12 months; preferred: 4-6 years of related experience and photo-imaging software experience. Strong communication, computer literacy, and Microsoft skills are desired.
