Job Summary
Estimator I positions are developmental roles in the preconstruction department, focusing on single large projects or multiple smaller ones. Responsibilities include quantity takeoff, pricing project logistics, evaluating trade bids, understanding indirect costs, drafting subcontracts, and providing document control. Candidates should have an engineering degree, relevant estimating experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and electrical estimating software. Preference will be given to those with LEED accreditation or a willingness to obtain it.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in estimating or related field
- Four-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training or experience
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electrical estimating software Accubid
