Job Summary
Estimator for heavy civil/earthwork estimating to support preconstruction efforts. Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork and site development, assist in preparing cost estimates and bid packages, analyze project plans/specs/geotechnical reports, and support senior estimators in bid strategies. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and scope coverage. Requires 4-7 years of heavy civil/sitework/earthwork estimating and proficiency with AGTEK, InSite, Carlson, or similar takeoff software, and familiarity with Bid2Win (HCSS) or comparable estimating tools. Collaborative team environment with emphasis on training and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in heavy civil, sitework, or earthwork estimating
- Experience with AGTEK, InSite, Carlson, or similar takeoff software
- Familiarity with Bid2Win (HCSS) or other estimating tools
- Strong understanding of grading, excavation, and site development
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
