Job Summary
Lead Estimator for metal building and general construction projects. Drives the estimating process from initial review through final bid, prepares detailed cost estimates from plans/specs, analyzes blueprints for scope, materials, labor, and timelines, solicits and evaluates subcontractor/supplier bids, performs takeoffs, coordinates with ownership and project managers on bid strategy, supports value engineering, and ensures a smooth handoff to the project team after award. Requires 5+ years of estimating experience (7–10+ preferred) with a strong background in metal buildings, ag construction, or similar projects; proficient in PlanSwift/Bluebeam and Excel; capable of managing multiple bids and deadlines with strong communication and decision-making skills.

- Strong background in metal buildings, ag construction, or similar projects
- Ability to read and interpret complex plans and specifications
- Experience with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines independently
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
