Job Summary
Manage planning, scheduling, and monitoring of costs for water and wastewater pump stations, treatment plants, and emergency maintenance projects. Comprehend and disseminate contract documents including plans, specifications, and agreements while communicating with project engineers. Prepare schedule updates, change orders, RFIs, vendor invoices, purchase orders, and monthly billings to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Maintain project schedules and monitor construction progress and material deliveries. Requires a Bachelor's degree or one year of related experience, familiarity with blueprints, and ability to utilize accounting and scheduling software. Hours regularly exceed 40 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
- Ability to utilize accounting and scheduling software for project management
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to interpret and apply contract documents, including project plans and specifications
- Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Must be available for hours regularly exceeding 40 hours a week
