Job Summary
Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine equipment scope and prepare accurate quotations. Coordinate RFQs with contractors, engineers, and vendors to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical data while identifying missing or conflicting information in plans. Enter and maintain opportunities, quotes, and customer information within the CRM system, tracking multiple quotations to ensure deadlines are met. Respond to incoming customer inquiries related to new unit sales and collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project handoff after award. Maintain organized project files and documentation while supporting Sales Engineers and Outside Sales Representatives throughout the quotation process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in estimating, inside sales, project coordination, customer service, or technical sales support
- Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, or technical documentation
- Experience coordinating multiple projects or quotations simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- High level of professionalism and accountability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Ability to quickly learn technical products and applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in power generation, electrical, industrial equipment, construction, HVAC, or mechanical industries
- Experience supporting outside sales teams
- Experience using CRM software
