Job Summary
Review construction plans, specifications, and related documents to develop detailed, accurate project estimates for commercial construction. Manage deadline-driven pricing efforts for clients, construction managers, and industry stakeholders by analyzing subcontractor proposals and assembling competitive bid packages. Conduct site visits, job walks, and field observations to document existing conditions, while coordinating with architects, engineers, and trade partners to clarify scope and confirm bid participation. Utilize historical cost data and market trends to improve estimating accuracy, maintaining organized documentation for all assigned projects. This role supports Gallant's Preconstruction team in executing bidding strategies and project objectives across corporate interiors, healthcare, and ground-up developments.
Required Qualifications
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal background check
- Be able to provide valid identification for the I-9 Immigration document
- Display a professional and courteous attitude
- Report to work at the designated start time
- Must be willing and able to travel to work sites, which are in different locations around our division
- Be willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends when necessary
- Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures
- Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required
- Must have/maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record with a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company standards
