Estimator

Estimator at Flower City Group develops and maintains detailed quantities and cost standards to produce cost/price estimates for assigned projects. Responsibilities include developing estimates from prints and specifications or designing specifications from data provided by Sales Reps and Project Managers, performing takeoffs for film prep, press running, paper, bindery, prepress costs, and other cost components, and ensuring accuracy of final costs including sales commissions. The role can be remote or have office space at one of the company locations, and requires proficiency in cost estimating, coordinating with internal teams, sub-contractor quotes, and maintaining estimating and job costing systems. The position emphasizes strong communication, cost optimization, and adherence to project timelines, with a focus on producing competitive, accurate estimates and supporting bid activities.
