Job Summary
Prepare and submit tenders for drylining projects across the UK, working from initial enquiry through to contract award. Produce detailed take-offs from tender drawings using Bluebeam and compile Bills of Quantities in Excel to ensure accurate pricing and commercial viability. Assess project specifications, identify alternative solutions, and price variations as required. Handover secured projects to Contracts Managers while maintaining competitive pricing throughout the tender process. This role supports the expanding drylining division of a specialist contractor delivering roofing, wall cladding, and drylining systems, requiring strong UK construction experience and technical understanding of Knauf and British Gypsum systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of drylining estimating experience within the UK construction industry
- Strong experience submitting tenders to Main Contractors
- Excellent understanding of drylining systems, particularly Knauf and British Gypsum
- Strong numeracy and commercial awareness
- Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable working UK hours, Monday to Friday
- Professional communication style with a clear and neutral accent
- Experience using Bluebeam and Excel for take-offs and BOQs
