Job Summary
Field-based Estimator – Environmental Services in the Chicagoland area. Conduct on-site evaluations for residential and light commercial environmental service projects, travel regionally, prepare same-day proposals, assess project scope including labor, materials, permits, and remediation needs, and build/maintain referral relationships with contractors and industry partners. Requires strong communication, ability to manage multiple estimates daily, and knowledge of environmental compliance standards. Willingness to travel locally and represent the firm professionally in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales, estimating, or customer-facing field experience
- Education: Associate degree or at least two years of college coursework required; construction management or architecture coursework preferred
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Travel: Reliable personal vehicle, valid Illinois driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally throughout the Chicagoland region
