Job Summary
Estimator to support Independence, OH office with cost estimates/proposals for international projects ($1M-$100M). Interprets bid documents and drawings to identify engineering specs, evaluates materials, manpower, schedule, and budget; develops and reviews estimates/proposals, incorporates subcontractor and material supplier data, performs material take-offs, and prepares clarifications, checklists, and tender forms; contributes to estimating basis, identifies risks and opportunities, and maintains historical benchmarking data. Requires a Mechanical/Civil Engineering/Construction Management degree or equivalent PMI certification is a plus; 7-10 years of experience in organizing and preparing cost estimates/proposals for international construction projects; proficient in estimating techniques, Excel, RS Means or similar software, and scheduling tools; knowledge of FAR/government contracting; strong communication and collaboration with proposal teams.”,
