Job Summary
Estimator needed in Dallas, TX to develop accurate cost estimates for voice and data projects, prepare bid proposals, and support design of Building Automated Systems. Responsibilities include creating BOMs and labor estimates, interpreting project specs, collaborating with Sales/PM/Purchasing/Service, designing layouts and system configurations, reviewing drawings for accuracy, and providing after-sales support. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, ability to read blueprints, and at least 5 years of estimation experience in the structured cabling/low-voltage field; RCDD preferred. Local to Dallas; in-person duties with occasional on-site visits. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimation within the structured cabling, voice/data, or low-voltage industry
- RCDD certification preferred
- Must be local to the Dallas, TX area
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
