Job Summary
The Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed project estimates, analyzing project costs, and providing insights for budget decisions. They will work closely with project managers to ensure accurate bids and minimize risks while maximizing value.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction cost analysis and budgeting
- Excellent skills in construction estimating and risk assessment
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications
- Experience with quantity takeoff and negotiation
- Familiarity with project management principles and scheduling techniques
