Job Summary
Experienced Estimator/Project Manager analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documents to prepare time, material, equipment, production and labor estimates; prepares preliminary and detailed estimates; consults with clients and vendors; maintains price data; prepares bid packages and analyzes subcontractor bids; participates in bidding; manages project cost projections and billing; coordinates with job foremen on project startup and field measurements; supports estimating with field measurements and as-needed input.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or another related field
- Five or more years of construction estimating experience
- Experience with estimating software (B2W) and Takeoff software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Proficiency with estimating and bidding software
- Experience with CADD files
Desired Qualifications
