Job Summary
The Heavy Civil Construction Estimator is responsible for performing professional estimating duties including estimate preparation and bid submission, contract risk analysis, and budget preparation for projects up to $200,000,000. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field along with 1-5 years of relevant estimating experience. Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and knowledge of estimating software are essential for success in this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree
- 1-5 years' experience of estimating on Heavy Civil Construction projects
- Experience in large-scale heavy civil construction projects
- Must have experience estimating projects in the heavy civil industry and/or TxDOT or DOT from another state
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of HeavyBid by HCSS or other Estimating software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
