Job Summary
Estimator for Culinary Depot’s Foodservice Construction team responsible for analyzing drawings, scope, and specifications to develop accurate and timely project proposals; utilize AutoQuotes for estimating and pricing equipment and materials; enter and maintain project data in internal systems; build and maintain relationships with manufacturer reps, general contractors, and internal stakeholders; proactively follow up with customers throughout the bidding process; identify and resolve pricing discrepancies to ensure proposals align with project scope; prepare project budgets and ensure timely submission to clients; track bid status and update documentation accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in estimating, preferably in foodservice construction
- Proficiency in AutoQuotes
- Reading construction drawings
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with foodservice equipment, commercial kitchen design, or related industry preferred
