Job Summary
Prepare accurate drywall estimates for commercial projects ranging from mid-sized work to large-scale healthcare and aviation initiatives. Proactively engage with general contractors to secure bid opportunities while working closely with a centralized estimating team as the local Austin presence. Independently take and run bids for projects valued between $150K and $15M+, balancing estimating responsibilities with relationship-building and light business development. Requires 2+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience and OST (On-Screen Takeoff) proficiency. Competitive compensation includes a vehicle allowance and annual performance-based bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial drywall estimating experience (not entry-level)
- OST (On-Screen Takeoff) experience required
- Ability to independently take and run bids from day one
- Location: Austin, TX (local presence required)
