The Project Estimator for Commercial Construction is responsible for preparing comprehensive and competitive estimates of project costs and schedules, utilizing creativity and resourcefulness to navigate project plans. The role requires a strong understanding of construction contracts, estimating best practices, and effective communication with subcontractors.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates degree in construction management or engineering is a plus
- Some estimating experience preferred
