Job Summary
Analyze project bid documents to communicate scope, schedule, and requirements to the bid team. Prepare complete quantity surveys, cost estimates, and scope drawings for unitized and stick-build façade systems. Solicit vendor quotations, review them for accuracy and conformity, and update vendors with plans, specifications, and addenda. Assist operations with post-award takeoffs, buyouts, and addenda pricing while meeting deadlines and developing new skills. Works directly with Sales and Operations to develop takeoffs, RFQs, and proposals for project pursuits across the country.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or University
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents including drawings, specifications and bid instructions
- Strong general computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu, ACAD, Navisworks, and Revit
- Strong spatial aptitude
- Strong independent worth ethic and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in curtainwall, glazing, facades, cladding, building envelope, or architectural metals preferred
