Estimator - Civil (Water/Wastewater)

Job Summary
Establish and lead cost estimates for civil water/wastewater projects, perform quantity takeoffs, analyze contract documents and specifications, support lead estimator on large pursuits, mentor small teams, and coordinate with operations, project management, and business development to position pursuits for success. Responsibilities include detailing cost estimates, bid document control, risk analysis, value engineering, and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bids and successful transfers to project teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in related discipline or trade experience or equivalent.
- 4 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating, and 6 months of on-site experience is preferred.
- Successfully led pursuits valued at up to $25 million in various delivery methods.
- Strong preference for experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Experience estimating civil construction projects
- Working knowledge of estimating software, advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite and a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
