Job Summary
Estimator – Building Automation focusing on developing estimates for Building Automation and controls systems including materials, equipment, software, and labor; coordinate vendor pricing and subcontractor quotes; collaborate with Account Managers, engineering and sales to ensure alignment on project scope and execution; support scope proposals and utilize estimating tools while managing multiple active estimates; initial in-office training followed by a hybrid schedule with three days in the office.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in HVAC, electronics, or related degree
- 1+ year of experience in HVAC, Building Automation (BAS), low voltage, or related field; 3+ years preferred
- Technical estimating experience is ideal; exposure to estimating, project coordination, or technical systems preferred
- Strong interest in learning estimating processes and building systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work fully in-office for the initial 6 months of training; transitions to a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office
