Job Summary
Estimator or Senior Estimator for Division 9 industrial construction with a focus on painting, drywall, caulking, and flooring scopes. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing; analyze drawings, specs, and addenda to develop accurate bids; utilize OST/Bluebeam and internal estimating tools; participate in bid reviews and pricing strategy discussions; collaborate with preconstruction leadership, ownership, and project management; support bid handoff and transition to operations; assist with value engineering and scope clarifications as needed. Ideal candidate has experience estimating Division 9 scopes, owns take-offs and pricing from start to finish, has exposure to industrial/large commercial construction, enjoys a hands-on, collaborative estimating environment, and seeks stability and growth with direct access to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of estimating experience in painting, drywall, caulking, flooring, or related specialty trades
- Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications
- Proficiency with OST and Bluebeam
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail
- Senior Estimator candidates should bring additional experience reviewing bids, mentoring junior estimators, or supporting pricing strategy.
