Job Summary
Estimator in preconstruction leading accurate cost estimates across all project phases for high-end residential and select commercial builds. Collaborates with clients, architects, design teams, and subcontractors to develop preliminary through construction budgets, offers cost-saving and quality-enhancing solutions, and generates schedules guiding design to completion. Plays a mentorship role, supports continuous improvement of preconstruction processes, and may grow into leadership. Primarily office-based with occasional site visits and a potential hybrid arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction estimating experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with CMiC or similar project management tools
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Destini or equivalent estimating software
- Preferred familiarity with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks (BIM)
