Job Summary
Prepare bid packages for current and prospective trade partners and conduct field visits to verify material usage. Execute take-offs for lumber, trim, roofing, and siding while managing trade partner contract files to ensure signed pricing and scopes of work. Release job start packages, process change orders and variance purchase orders, and act as a liaison between Charleston Division and Product Development to maintain current blueprints. Assist the Purchasing Manager with new community setups in Newstar software. Requires proficiency in MS Office and Newstar purchasing software, plus 2-4 years of residential homebuilding or estimating experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications, i.e. MS Excel
- Must have previous experience in purchasing software
- Knowledge of new home construction process is required
- High School Diploma required
- 2-4 years of residential homebuilding or estimating experience
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Newstar purchasing software is a plus
- college degree preferred
