Job Summary
Estimator responsible for preparing bid packages, taking-off material quantities (lumber, trim, roofing, siding), and performing field visits to verify materials. Supports Purchasing Manager with Newstar setup, releases job start packages, processes change orders and variance POs, and serves as liaison between Charleston Division and Product Development to ensure current blueprints and trade-partner pricing. Collaborates with Purchasing Manager and Community Builders to define scopes of work and maintains trade-partner contract files. Requires proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and experience with purchasing software; knowledge of Newstar is a plus. Must be detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task and prioritize, and possess knowledge of the new home construction process. Location: Englewood, Colorado (US).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required, college degree preferred OR 2-4 years of residential homebuilding or estimating experience OR Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
