Job Summary
Estimation Team Lead role overseeing a 5-person estimators team within a real estate investment company. Responsible for setting vision, standards, QC, and the estimate-to-actual feedback loop; lead coaching and performance management; build the process and system to scale the team from current load to 175 deals per year. Requires proven leadership of an estimating function with residential renovation/general contracting experience, ability to push for data-driven decisions, manage variances, and translate estimates into actionable business decisions. Location-agnostic remote leadership with a defined set of remote locations; full-time leadership role reporting to the CEO.
Required Qualifications
- REAL construction estimating experience
- priced real construction work with real materials and labor
- ability to lead a team and build system/process
- comfortable with estimates and variances and communicating data to executives
