Job Summary
Estimation leadership role overseeing the nationwide Multifamily Estimating function. Travel nationally to interface with design departments; manage estimators and estimating leads; lead the design function to meet/exceed company standards; conduct performance reviews; coordinate workload across estimating pods; ensure adherence to truss pricing and software settings; coordinate software updates; assist VP of Multifamily with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training; and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires experience in wood truss design software, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- 6-8 years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous managerial experience required
- Mitek Truss Software experience required
- Knowledge of wood frame construction
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
