Job Summary
Manage the global estimation team and develop quotations for gas delivery components by reviewing blueprints, plans, and customer documents. Propose changes in equipment, processes, or materials to reduce costs and improve operations, while interfacing with engineering, planning, and manufacturing departments on product specifications. Work with suppliers to develop new outsourcing partners and utilize company software to develop costs, product structure, and routings ensuring manufacturability. Provide technical services to clients regarding component use, operation, and maintenance, and develop technical documentation for catalogs and manuals. Conduct cost analysis after product shipment to verify projected goals and reconcile estimated costs to actuals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related discipline, or a combination of education and related work experience
- 5-7 years of experience in handling the responsibilities outlined above
- Microsoft Office skills
- Good with Excel
- Good with Word
- Good with PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
