Job Summary
Lead the Divisional Estimating Team by managing hiring, performance, and productivity while driving bid strategy and risk evaluation. Directly execute systems and low-voltage estimating tasks including composing BOMs, performing takeoffs, and writing proposals. Analyze blueprints to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates, then consult with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve issues and adjust pricing. Establish cost monitoring systems, negotiate tenders, and prepare expenditure statements for project duration. Review final estimates with leadership once contracts are awarded and assist in creating budgets and schedules. Requires 7+ years of systems/low-voltage estimating experience, a valid driver's license, and strong computer skills. Required Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company
- Minimum of 7 years of systems/low-voltage experience in industrial or commercial estimating
