Job Summary
Estimating and Pricing Senior Lead responsible for developing cost estimates and price proposals across the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of programs. Leads the development of estimates from technical requirements, validates estimating data, evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates pricing, and assembles price proposals. Develops estimating methods, conducts analyses (risk, financial, etc.), maintains structured data systems, and coordinates program database requirements. Produces solutions to unusually complex problems and may establish precedents for future decisions. Recognized as a job expert and advisor to top management. Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher and 10+ years in a finance-related role, strong MS Office skills, and domestic travel as needed. Relocation may be offered based on candidate eligibility; U.S. export-control compliance and security considerations apply. The role is based in El Segundo, CA and supports Boeing’s space and launch programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 10+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint Word and Excel
- Willing to travel domestically as needed
