Estimating Analyst

Job Summary
Research customer requirements, packaging history, and production data to prepare accurate estimates and cost models for assigned customers. Conduct time studies to validate labor assumptions, develop basic packaging engineering specifications, and generate Engineered Line Drawings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align estimates with staffing needs, production schedules, and sourcing strategies. Support business development by preparing price models and production line layouts while tracking site-level KPIs related to estimating and cost performance. Participate in New Build Meetings to confirm assembly steps and gather input from Operations, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and People groups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
- Strong understanding of packaging design, assembly, and customer specifications
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm's length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

- Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) experience
