Job Summary
Prepare complete estimates for post-disaster reconstruction and residential or commercial renovation projects by analyzing photos, plans, and reports while adhering to insurance standards. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and profitability of all bids, delivering them within tight deadlines through close collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers. Maintain exemplary supplier relationships and actively participate in improving work methods and industry trends. This role supports the Alma GUS branch, where the estimator serves as a key resource for distressed clients and field teams.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.C. ou A.E.C. en techniques d'estimation en bâtiment
- Au minimum 3 ans d'expérience en estimation après-sinistre
Desired Qualifications
- expérience de travail chez un assureur, un restaurateur après-sinistre ou une firme d'estimation indépendante
- Formation IICRC
- Connaissance de l'après-sinistre
- Très bonne connaissance du logiciel d'estimation Xactimate
- Très bonne connaissance de Symbility
- Habiletés de négociation
- Bonne capacité de communication interpersonnelle et écrite
- Capacité à prendre des décisions, autonomie et sens des responsabilités
- Faire preuve de rigueur et de minutie ayant un bon sens de l'initiative
