Under the supervision of the mechanical process and electrical director, analyze project specifications and blueprints to generate equipment and material takeoffs. Establish detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and site expenses, then submit tender details to suppliers while evaluating proposals for acceptance. Collaborate with the project team to develop work schedules and ensure complete project handoff to the construction crew. Participate in client visits to better understand project requirements during the estimation phase. Work jointly with other estimators to submit competitive bids.
