Job Summary
Analyze project scope by reading plans, quotes, and addendas to determine material, labor, equipment, and subcontracting needs. Evaluate direct and indirect costs to produce precise estimates, updating price databases and estimation templates for submission competitiveness. Prepare and submit price proposals within deadlines while validating subcontractor and supplier quotes. Verify document compliance before final submission and archive all submission files per internal standards. Transmit essential budget and specification data to project managers for smooth execution transitions and present key estimation elements at kickoff meetings. Provide ad-hoc cost adjustment support during project realization.
Required Qualifications
- Formation en estimation, technologie de l'architecture, génie civil ou domaine connexe
- 2 à 4 ans d'expérience en estimation de projets d'ébénisterie, menuiserie ou construction (commercial ou résidentiel)
- Excellente lecture de plans et devis
- Bonne connaissance des matériaux et procédés d'ébénisterie
- Maîtrise d'Excel
- Aisance avec les logiciels d'estimation (Procore, Genius, etc.)
- Rigueur
- Analytique
