Job Summary
Provide professional skin care services including facials, hair removal, and body treatments to salon clientele. Meet or exceed personal service and retail sales goals while building a client base through recruitment and maintaining customer cards. Respond professionally to customer service issues and address complaints promptly. Participate in ongoing education regarding products, services, and current industry issues. Ensure personal work areas and the salon meet State Board Regulations by performing cleaning, stocking, and client card duties. Maintain an updated professional appearance and adhere to salon dress codes.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Exhibiting good communication skills
- Ongoing continuing education on products, services, and current issues relating to the industry
- Ensuring personal work area and salon meet and exceed State Board Regulations
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry preferred
