Job Summary
Provide professional skin care services including facials, hair removal, and body treatments while meeting personal service and retail sales goals. Build a client base by recruiting new customers and maintaining client cards, responding professionally to service issues and complaints. Ensure personal work areas and the salon meet State Board Regulations through cleaning, stocking, and client card management. Participate in ongoing in-house and external education classes regarding products, services, and industry trends. Maintain an updated professional appearance, adhere to salon dress code, and communicate effectively with Salon Management regarding issues and needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current board certified license
- Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment
- Ability to work with chemicals and chemical compounds
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Meeting salon guidelines for attendance and tardiness
- Maintaining an updated professional appearance and meets the salon dress code
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in the cosmetology or cosmetic industry
- Ongoing continuing education on products, services, and current issues relating to the industry
