Job Summary
Draft wills, powers of attorney, and trusts while managing estate administration, probate, and litigation matters. Provide outstanding, cost-effective, and responsive legal services to clients through independent work or under senior direction. Maintain strong analytical, research, and writing skills as a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing. Required Qualifications
- minimum of 4 years of experience in a law firm
- excellent knowledge and understanding of wills and estates law and procedures
- familiar with estate planning (including drafting of wills, power of attorney and trusts)
- familiar with estate administration
- familiar with the probate of wills
- familiar with estate litigation
- familiar with all other matters as required
- ability to work independently or under the direction of senior lawyers as part of an established and growing team
- excellent communication skills
- appreciation of the importance of providing outstanding, cost-effective and responsive legal services to clients
- membership in the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
