Job Summary
Provide sophisticated legal counsel to high-net-worth individuals on complex trust and estate structures, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Manage trust and estate administration from inception through probate, representing clients in court proceedings and overseeing fiduciary matters. Partner with financial advisors and CPAs to develop integrated tax planning strategies while serving as the primary point of contact for client relationships. This role requires active Nebraska Bar licensure and at least five years of private practice experience in estate planning. The position offers a hybrid schedule with on-site presence encouraged as you build client relationships, alongside comprehensive benefits including professional liability insurance, CLE coverage, and firm-paid marketing expenses.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of estate planning experience in private practice
- Deep knowledge of trust and estate administration and tax planning for high-net-worth clients
- Active Nebraska Bar license, or eligibility and commitment to obtain licensure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused mindset with a track record of responsiveness and service excellence
- High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, efficient work product
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Initiative-driven: takes ownership of matters and manages cases with appropriate autonomy
- Minimum of 5 years of estate planning experience in private practice
- Applicants without active Nebraska Bar licensure (or clear eligibility to obtain it) will not be considered
