Job Summary
Experienced Estate Attorney needed in Ft. Lauderdale to advise and represent clients in estate planning, probate administration, and elder law matters. Responsibilities include drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, Medicaid planning, asset protection, probate administration, guardianship proceedings, fiduciary duties, and fiduciary/accounting matters; provide strategic counsel on long-term care planning; cultivate client relationships; collaborate with paralegals and staff; participate in practice development and community outreach. Requires a Juris Doctor, active Florida Bar license, and 4–10+ years in elder law/estate planning with strong drafting and client communication skills; courtroom probate/guardianship experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 4–10+ years of experience in elder law, estate planning, and probate
- Experience handling probate and estate administration matters independently
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Courtroom experience in probate or guardianship matters preferred
