Job Summary
Marshals and administers assets in small to medium-sized probate estates and taxable trusts, deciding substantive questions regarding tax elections, asset valuation, and liability resolution. Functions as the decision point for estate issues in asset management and tax compliance, articulating logic to all appropriate parties. Coordinates fundings and distributions, approves tax returns, and oversees preparation of court documents while ensuring fiduciary requirements are observed. Advises the investment division on cash requirements and beneficiary objectives, cultivating relationships for expanded business opportunities. Plans, reviews, and implements distributions with input from co-fiduciaries and external counsel, managing special tasks such as real estate sales and audit responses. Requires minimum 5 years in estate administration with no visa sponsorship available.
