Job Summary
The FUSE Executive Fellow will design and operationalize a governance structure for Rochester’s new City/Cross-sector Children’s Cabinet, aligning city agencies, ROC the Future, and data systems. Responsibilities include conducting an in-depth discovery phase (listening tour with stakeholders), reviewing and defining governance, membership, and accountability, and building data-sharing capabilities and dashboards. The fellow will translate insights into an actionable implementation plan, coordinate across education, housing, public safety, health, workforce, philanthropy, and business sectors, and ensure equity considerations are embedded in decision-making. Deliverables span governance framework, data and coordination strategy, asset maps and dashboards, implementation roadmaps for priority initiatives, and a sustainability plan. Prospective responsibilities also cover developing tools to improve visibility into services and outcomes and aligning the cabinet with existing city and ROC the Future structures. The program emphasizes senior leadership, strategic and operational project management, and building coalitions with diverse stakeholders to drive cross-sector impact over a multi-year horizon. EXPECTED DELIVERABLES include governance and operating framework, data/coordination strategy, asset map and coordination tools, and implementation roadmaps, with longer-term outcomes focused on institutionalization and measurable improvements in cross-sector coordination and child/family outcomes. KEY STAKEHOLDERS include the Executive Sponsor, Project Supervisor, and Place-Based Partners. QUALIFICATIONS require 15+ years of experience, synthesis and communication skills, strategic/operational planning, data-driven problem solving, adaptability, collaboration, and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
