Job Summary
Deliver essential skills training in communication, numeracy, and ICT to students on government-funded Skills for Life and Work programmes, ApprenticeshipsNI, and private clients. Create inclusive learning environments through tailored lesson plans and provide ongoing feedback to help learners overcome challenges and achieve personal and professional goals. Work within a 37.5-hour week at the Carrick Branch, reporting to the HR team for application inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2/GCSE English and Maths qualifications
- A Degree in the subject specialism (Numeracy/Literacy/ICT)
- Recognised Teaching Qualification OR Achievement of the Certificate in Teaching (Yr 1 of the PGCE) within one year in post*
- Full clean driving licence and access to transport
- This role is subject to a clear ACCESSNI Enhanced Vetting Check to ensure the applicant can work in REGULATED ACTIVITY
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally, they will have good mentoring skills and sound knowledge of working with awarding bodies and delivering qualifications
